This page explains what this website collects, why, who sees it and what you can ask me to do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose.
Who is responsible
This site is operated by Grace Kegler, PLLC, a licensed Arizona real estate salesperson and REALTOR® with Perk Prop Real Estate. My brokerage supervises my real estate activity, which means some of what you send me becomes a record my brokerage is responsible for as well.
The quickest way to reach me is 480-258-4472. Mail reaches me at Perk Prop Real Estate, 1733 N Greenfield Rd., Suite 102, Mesa, AZ 85205.
What you give me
The forms on this site ask for only what is needed to answer you. Depending on the form, that is:
- Your name, and your email address.
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it. It is optional on every form.
- What you are considering: budget or price range, timeline, property type, condition, the areas you are looking at, and for investors the strategy and how much renovation you will take on.
- The address of a specific property, if you are asking me about selling one or reviewing one.
- Anything you write in a message or notes field.
- A link, if you choose to share plans, photographs or a contractor bid that way. The forms do not accept file uploads.
What is collected without you typing it
- The page you submitted the form from, so I know what you were reading.
- How you arrived: the website that referred you, the first page you landed on, and any campaign or click identifiers in the link you followed, such as utm_source or gclid. Your browser holds these for the session and sends them with your inquiry.
- Ordinary web server logs kept by the company that hosts this site, including IP addresses, as part of running and securing a website.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
There is no analytics tool, advertising pixel or social media tracker installed on this site. Nothing here is following you to other websites or building an advertising profile of you. If I add a measurement tool later, this page will be updated to name it.
The cookies in use are the functional ones WordPress sets to run the site, and, while the site is a private preview, one that remembers you have the preview link. There are no advertising cookies.
What I do with it
I do not send marketing text messages from information submitted on this site. If that ever changes, it will be a separate question with a box you have to check yourself.
- Answer you, and prepare whatever you asked for.
- Keep a record of the conversation so I am not asking you the same questions twice.
- If you joined the investor list, send you emails about new investment opportunities until you unsubscribe.
Who else sees it
I do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone to advertise to you.
- Perk Prop Real Estate, my brokerage, which supervises my work and keeps transaction records.
- The companies that host this website and deliver my email, which hold the data in the ordinary course of providing those services.
- A lender, inspector, contractor or other professional — only if you ask for an introduction, only the details needed to make it, and only to the person you agreed to.
- Anyone I am legally required to give it to.
How long it is kept
Inquiries are kept while there is a reason to keep them — an active conversation, or one we are both expecting to pick up again. Tell me you are done and I will delete yours.
Records that become part of an actual transaction are different: Arizona requires brokerages to retain transaction records, generally for five years, and those are held under my brokerage's retention policy rather than mine to delete.
What you can ask me to do
Call me and ask. I am not going to make you fill in a form to be left alone.
- Tell you what I hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it, subject to the transaction records above.
- Stop contacting you. Investor list emails also carry an unsubscribe link in every message.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and submissions are stored in a private area of it. No website can promise perfect security, and I am not going to tell you otherwise.
